LEXTRAN JULY 4TH HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
LexTran’s administrative offices located at 109 W. Loudon Avenue will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2009, in observance of the 4th of July holiday.
LexTran will operate on a Saturday schedule on Saturday, July 4, 2009.
Because of holiday-related street closings including Vine Street, all buses will re-locate to High Street directly behind the transit center for passenger pick up and drop off. Regular transit center service will resume at 9:20 pm.
Passengers are advised to expect traffic delays due to street closings.
Transit center ticket office will be open 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Passengers requiring specific route information and schedules should call 253-INFO (253-4636).

Any pass purchased prior to July 1 that is still valid can be taken to the customer service window at the transit center for the stamp to be attached.
Verb Summer Score Card
LexTran is teaming again this year with the Lexington-Fayette Health Department, offering free rides to participants in the VERB Summer Scorecard program. The Scorecard is the ticket to summer fun for 9 to 13 year olds from May 23 through July 20.
To qualify for a free ride, participants must be accompanied by an adult and show their Scorecard to the bus operator.

click here to access our Transit Store. Passes purchased through LexTran’s Online Store are not intended for resale. Once your order is processed we will mail your pass to the provided address.
Additionally passes can be purchased at the following locations:
- Transit Center @ 200 East Vine St
- Administrative Offices @ 109 West Loudon
- Kroger Stores (30-day unlimited pass only) Lexington, Versailles, Winchester Nicholasville and Richmond
